Continuance of such enquiry, held not warranted once SLP petitioner had admitted the conversation and submitted transcript thereof in Court on affidavit. Further, directed that in event High Court intends to refer to said transcript while disposing of main writ petition, same can be done only after granting opportunity to SLP petitioner. [V. State of U.P., <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scconline.com\/DocumentLink\/822o31s1\">(2021) 4 SCC 345<\/a>]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Forest (Conservation) Act, 1980 \u2014 S. 2 \u2014 Restriction on de-reservation of forests:<\/strong> Provisions of S. 2 mandate strict and punctilious compliance therewith. Mere substantial compliance is not enough. Any construction made on forest land or its utilisation for \u201cnon-forest purposes\u201d which is violative of Forest (Conservation) Act, 1980 and therefore illegal, liable to be demolished. [H.P. Bus-Stand Management &amp; Development Authority v.
