(Protection) Amendment Rules, 2021 to further amend the Environment (Protection) Rules, 1986.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The following amendment has been made:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In Rule 5(3)(d), which specifies the time duration for Central Government\u00a0 to consider objections and impose restrictions\/prohibitions, the following proviso has been substituted:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\">\u201cProvided that on account of COVID-19 pandemic, for the purpose of this clause, the period of validity of the notification expiring in the financial year 2020-2021 and 2021- 2022 shall be extended up to December 31, 2021 or six months from the end of the month when the relevant
