{"id":249376,"date":"2021-06-06T12:48:33","date_gmt":"2021-06-06T07:18:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/blog\/?p=249376"},"modified":"2021-06-06T12:48:33","modified_gmt":"2021-06-06T07:18:33","slug":"central-civil-services-pension-amendment-rules-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/blog\/post\/2021\/06\/06\/central-civil-services-pension-amendment-rules-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"Central Civil Services (Pension) Amendment Rules, 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Government has notified Central Civil Services (Pension) Amendment Rules, 2020 vide <a href=\"https:\/\/egazette.nic.in\/WriteReadData\/2021\/227308.pdf\">notification dated 31.05.2021.<\/a> The Amendment Rules comes into force with immediate effect.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Amendment makes the following changes in the Central Civil Services (Pension) Rules 1972:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>In Rule 8(3A)(a), the following clause shall be substituted, namely:-<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 40px;\">\u201c(a) Without prejudice to the provisions of sub-rule (3), no Government servant, who, having worked in any Intelligence or Security-related organisation included in the Second Schedule of the Right to Information Act, 2005 (22 of 2005), shall, without prior clearance from the Head of the Organisation, make any publication after retirement, of any material relating to and including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">domain of the organisation, including any reference or information about any personnel and his designation, and expertise or knowledge gained by virtue of working in that organisation;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">sensitive information, the disclosure of which would prejudicially affect the sovereignty and<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">integrity of India, the security, strategic, scientific or economic interests of the State, or relation with a foreign State or which would lead to incitement of an offence.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Rule 3B: The Head of the Organisation shall vest with the authority to decide as to whether the proposed material for publication is sensitive or non-sensitive, and whether it falls in the domain of the organization.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">*Tanvi Singh, Editorial Assistant has put this story together.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Government has notified Central Civil Services (Pension) Amendment Rules, 2020 vide notification dated 31.05.2021.
