and Development Authority<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\"> makes the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (Pension Fund) (Fifth Amendment) Regulations, 2021 to amend the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\">(Pension Fund) Regulations, 2015.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span dir=\"ltr\">(I) <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\">In <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\">regulation 8 dealing with the Eligibility criteria, in sub<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\">&#8211;<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\">regulation (1)(<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\">d) shall be substituted as below<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\">&#8211;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><span dir=\"ltr\">(d) the sponsors, individually or jointly, shall have a positive tangible net worth of at least fifty <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\">crore rupees on the last day of each of the preceding five financial years and at least twenty<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\">&#8211;<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\">five crore <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\">rupees shoul<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\">d be the paid up equity capital on the date of making application as sponsor;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">OLD: the sponsor shall have profits after tax in at least three of the preceding
