These <strong><em>shall include, but not be limited<\/em><\/strong> to telecommunications law, data protection, intellectual property rights, cybercrimes, internet governance, software contracts, artificial intelligence and cloud computing. The submissions should be <strong>unpublished, original and not under review <\/strong>with any similar platform<strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>2.\u00a0 Deadline<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Submissions should be made by the google form <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/eiyowZJ2GcQfJfBo7\">Here<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Submissions through emails will not be entertained.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The deadline for the submission is <strong>31<sup>st<\/sup> May, 2021.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>3.\u00a0 About the Centre<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Centre for Information Communication &amp; Technology Law (\u201c<strong>CICTL\u201d) <\/strong>is an initiative of the Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai which aims to be a centre for excellence in generating and disseminating the knowledge concerning the interrelationship between technology and law across the globe.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>4.\u00a0 About the Journal<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Journal shall be a professionally peer-reviewed, inter-disciplinary academic journal which operates bi-annually. IJCL shall publish twice per academic year (Winter\/Spring Issue and Summer Issue). The Journal is an initiative of Centre for Information, Communication and Technology Laws, Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>5.\u00a0 Content Guidelines<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><strong><u>Co-authorship<\/u><\/strong><strong>:<\/strong>Co-authorship up to <strong><em>three authors<\/em><\/strong> is permitted.<\/li>\n<li><strong><u>Plagiarism<\/u><\/strong><strong>:<\/strong>The submission should reflect <strong><em>original and unpublished work, not under review<\/em><\/strong> with a similar platform. A <strong><em>maximum similarity of 15% is allowed <\/em><\/strong>(subject to proper referencing). Non-adherence to this rule shall result in rejection of the article summarily with no chance for improvement.<\/li>\n<li><strong><u>Length<\/u><\/strong><strong>:<\/strong>Submissions must ideally be limited to the following word limits (exclusive of citations).<\/li>\n<li><strong><u>Abstract \u2013<\/u><\/strong> The Submission must contain an abstract of maximum 500 words on its first page.<\/li>\n<li><strong><u>Word Limit:<\/u><\/strong> Submissions must ideally be limited to following word limits. However, the author can exceed the limit in case of necessity subject to discretion of the Reviewer concerned. This limit shall be <strong><em>exclusive of footnotes and abstract<\/em><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Short Articles \u2013 3000 to 5000 words.<\/li>\n<li>Long Articles \u2013 6000 to 10000 words.<\/li>\n<li>Book Reviews \u2013 2000 to 3000 words.<\/li>\n<li>Case Comments \u2013 3000 to 5000 words.<\/li>\n<li>Legislative Comments \u2013 3000 to 6000 Words.<\/li>\n<li><strong><u>Formatting<\/u><\/strong><strong>:<\/strong>Submissions should be made only in <strong>Microsoft Word (.docx) format<\/strong>. The submission should adhere to the following formatting style.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Heading 1 (1,2,3\u2026)<\/strong>: Times New Roman, Upper Case, Font size: 16, Line spacing: 1.5\u201d, Justified.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Heading 2 (1.1., 1.2.,1.3.,\u2026)<\/strong>: Times New Roman, Sentence Case, Font size: 14, Line spacing: 1.5\u201d , Justified.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sub Heading (1.1.1.,\u2026)<\/strong>:\u00a0\u00a0 Times New Roman, Small Caps Case, Font size: 12, Line spacing: 1.5\u201d. , Justified.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sub<\/strong>&#8211;<strong>Sub Heading (optional) (a,b,c..)\u00a0 &#8211; <\/strong>Times New Roman, Bold-Italics, Font size: 12, Line spacing: 1.5\u201d, Justified.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Body: <\/strong>Times New Roman, Font size: 12, Line spacing: 1.5\u201d<\/li>\n<li><strong>Footnote<\/strong>: Font size: 10, Line spacing: 1\u201d, Justified.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><strong><u>Citation<\/u><\/strong><strong>:<\/strong>Relevant sources such as judgments, laws, treaties, news article and other legal texts must be added as footnotes adhering to the uniform Bluebook 20th Edition citation style.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>6.\u00a0\u00a0 Review Process<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Every article undergoes a comprehensive three-tier peer review and is sent back with comments for improvement, suggested changes, or cogent reasons for rejection\/selection.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Upon acceptance of the manuscript for publication by Journal, the copyright over the manuscript is vested with MNLU Mumbai. However, the moral rights over the manuscript shall vest in the author(s).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>7.\u00a0\u00a0 Publication Certificate<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On successful publication of a blog article, the author(s) shall be provided with a certificate of publication from Centre for Information Communication, and Technology
