NUALS Law Journal is now\u00a0<\/span>inviting submissions\u00a0for\u00a0the second volume of its 15th Edition (Vol. 15 Issue 2).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We welcome submissions, on any topic of law of contemporary relevance, from academicians, legal practitioners, students and researchers from the legal community. All submissions will go through a rigorous review process and possible editing by the Editorial Board.<\/span><\/p>\n

We accept submissions under the following categories:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Articles of length: 5000 – 10000 words (exclusive of footnotes; however speaking footnotes must be limited to 50 words); articles exceeding the word limit may be considered on merit.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Short Notes (between 1500 and 5000 words)<\/li>\n
  3. Case Comments (minimum of 1500 words)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Longer submissions may be considered on the basis of merit.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Submission guidelines<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. \u00a0Submissions are to be made only in electronic form and must be sent to\u00a0lawjournal@nuals.ac.in<\/span><\/a><\/li>\n
    2. \u00a0The last date for submissions to be considered for the Second Issue is on the\u00a014th<\/sup>of March 2021.<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0The previously notified cut-off date\u00a0(21st of February 2021) stands hereby extended. All submissions after the 14<\/span>th<\/sup>\u00a0of March will be considered\u00a0for\u00a0the 16th Edition. The issue shall be published latest by the month of May 2021.<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. \u00a0 All submissions are to contain an abstract, of not more than 250 words, accompanying the article.\u00a0<\/span>The abstract must be at the beginning of the article. Please refrain from sending abstracts in separate word doc.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n
    4. \u00a0 By submitting an article, the author undertakes that the article is an original work and has not been submitted, accepted or published elsewhere.<\/li>\n
    5. \u00a0 Plagiarism will result in summary rejection of the submission.<\/span><\/li>\n
    6. \u00a0 Co-authorship is allowed\u00a0for\u00a0a maximum of two authors.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Formatting Guidelines<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      1. \u00a0All submissions must follow the Bluebook (20th Edition) style of citation; non-conformity will be a ground\u00a0for\u00a0rejection.<\/span><\/li>\n
      2. \u00a0Submissions must be in Times New Roman font, with size 12 and line spacing 1.5.<\/li>\n
      3. \u00a0All footnotes must be in Times New Roman font, with size 10 and line spacing 1.<\/li>\n
      4. \u00a0Submissions must be made in .doc\/.docx formats only.<\/li>\n
      5. \u00a0The documents must not contain any identification markers. Eg: Name of the author after the title, Author as recognised by Word or any other meta data.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Receipt of submission will be intimated to the authors within two weeks of submission. Authors will be periodically updated on the status ofreview of their piece.
