On superannuation of the Chief Justice of the Madras High Court, Justice Amreshwar Pratap Sahi who also happens to be the ex-officio Chancellor of Tamil Nadu National Law University, Tiruchirapalli, the members of the General Council, Executive Council, ViceChancellor, Registrar, Faculties, Students and staff of TNNLU recorded a deep sense of gratitude to their Chancellor for evincing keen interest in the development of TNNLU during his tenure as the Chief Justice. With heavy hearts, TNNLU fraternity conveyed their farewell to their outgoing Chancellor. Notably, in the frightening times of the lockdown in March, 2020, Justice Sahi penned a letter to the legal fraternity titled, \u201cShifting Horizons\u201d dated 15th April 2020. Following the superannuation of Justice Sahi, Justice Sanjib Banerjee was appointed as the Chief Justice of the Madras High Court and the ex-officio Chancellor of Tamil Nadu National Law University, Tiruchirapalli.<\/p>\n
