At first, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/blog\/post\/2020\/03\/13\/coronavirus-covid-19-sc-restricts-its-functioning-to-avoid-mass-gatherings-in-courts-only-urgent-matters-to-be-heard\/\">the Supreme Court restricted it\u2019s functioning to avoid mass gatherings in Courts and directed that only urgent matters will be heard<\/a>, however, soon all the in-person hearings were completely banned and the Court directed that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/blog\/post\/2020\/03\/23\/coronavirus-covid-19-no-in-person-hearings-in-sc-till-further-notice-extremely-urgent-matters-to-be-heard-via-video-conference\/\">it would hear \u201cextremely urgent\u201d matters via video conferencing<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ultimately, faced with the unprecedented and extraordinary outbreak of a pandemic, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/blog\/post\/2020\/04\/06\/covid-19-supreme-court-issues-guidelines-on-functioning-of-courts-through-video-conferencing\/\">Supreme Court issued guidelines on functioning of courts through video conferencing<\/a>.
