It showcases contemporary issues and challenges specific to law, with an approach towards assimilating knowledge in the field of environment. It is an endeavor of the Centre to become the beacon of legal education by encouraging synthesis of knowledge and best practices cutting across the academia and research fraternity.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><strong>Theme<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u2018Environment and Town Planning\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><strong>Sub-Themes<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Town and country planning: Concept of \u201cGreen spaces &amp;Lung Spaces<\/li>\n<li>Law: enforcement and constraint<\/li>\n<li>Planning \u2013 management policies<\/li>\n<li>Smart Cities and Environment<\/li>\n<li>Land pollution and Smart cities<\/li>\n<li>Water degradation and town planning<\/li>\n<li>Noise pollution and smart city agreements<\/li>\n<li>Any Other<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><strong>Submission Guidelines<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><strong>Word Limit<\/strong>: Submissions should not exceed<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Research papers (5,000- 6,000 words),<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Short notes (2000-3000 words),<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Book reviews (1000-2000 words), and<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Case studies\/commentaries (1000-3000 words).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">However, looking at the quality and depth of research, relaxation may be given and word limit may vary.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><strong>Eligibility:\u00a0<\/strong>It shall be open to all law students.\u00a0(5 Year Integrated LLB\/3 Year LLB\/LLM), Law professors, Law practitioners, etc. Entries can be co-authored. However, a maximum of two authors per entry is allowed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Entries from all aspects of law whether direct or applied are welcome.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><strong>Citation Style<\/strong>: The Bluebook Uniform System of Citation (20th edition) shall be strictly adhered to.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><strong>Format of Main Text &amp; the Footnotes<\/strong>: The Times New Roman font, in font size 12 is<br \/>\nprescribed for all entries. Further, the footnotes shall be in font size 10 and line spacing of<br \/>\n1.5 and 1.0 shall be followed respectively.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><strong>Mode of Submission<\/strong>: Entries are to be sent at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:centenvlaw.il@nirmauni.ac.in\">centenvlaw.il@nirmauni.ac.in<\/a>\u00a0latest by<br \/>\nJanuary 15, 2021 (11:59 pm). No hard copy of the same is required.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Upon the completion of the review process, the authors of accepted papers would be<br \/>\nnotified.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><strong>PUBLICATION POLICY<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All the submissions sent to the Centre must be original and should not have been published nor should they be under consideration for publication in any other journal.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Plagiarized entries are liable to be rejected.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There must not be any copyright issues with the article sent for publication \u092a\u0930\u092a\u094b\u0938\u0947\u0938\u0964 Centre for Environment Law denies any liability which may arise in this regard.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By way of submitting their work to the Journal of Centre for Environment Law, the authors grant exclusive permission to JCEL to publish and reproduce their work in all streams of media. Such right is subject to the doctrine of fair use as followed under the \u0932\u0949 relating to Intellectual Property Rights and subject to the entitlements of the author.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\" start=\"5\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A process of peer-review shall be used to scrutinize all the submissions.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The editors reserve the right to delete or edit any article or part thereof whose content<br \/>\nis found to be offensive, defamatory, outrightly unethical, or if it is suggestive of<br \/>\nracism, sexual or religious discrimination, illegal or terror activities, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">The article is subjected to rejection if its content is likely
