The Constitution, though young, has undergone a tremendous change over these seven decades. Starting with 395 Articles and 8 schedules, it now stands at over 450 Articles and 12 Schedules\u2014a result of 104 amendments. The Indian Constitution is a marvelous document and its robustness and durability rest on its many built-in safeguards securing citizens\u2019 rights to freedom and justice and fair play which no government, however powerful, can hope to effectively recast within the space of a single or even multiple tenures in office. Therefore on the occasion of 71st Constitution Day, the Constitutional Law Club, NUSRL has organised the national level blog writing competition to further the discussions on the glorious aspects of the Indian Constitution.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><u>Eligibility Criteria<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The competition is open to all law pursuing students (three or five years, including L.L.M\/PhD) from any recognized university.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><u>Theme \u2013 Constitution in its Seventies<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Sub Themes \u2013<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Constitutional Morality<\/li>\n<li>Transformative nature of Constitution<\/li>\n<li>Constitutional Identity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Note\u00a0<\/em>\u2013 The list is not exhaustive and authors can opt for any topic within the ambit of the theme.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><u>Submission Guidelines<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>The article should not disclose the identity of the author\/s in order to maintain anonymity.<\/li>\n<li>The length of the article should not be more than 2000 words (excluding footnotes)<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0The sub-heading should be in Font size 12, Bold, Times New Roman and Center aligned.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0The main text should be in Font size 12, Times New Roman, 1.5 line spacing and Justified.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0All references must be in form of foot-notes with Font size 10 single spacing.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0For citation Bluebook style \u2013 20th Edition should be followed.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Co-authorship is not permitted.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0All the submissions must be submitted via Google form.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Participants not adhering to the word limit will be marked negatively.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0The Articles are strictly meant to be an original work of authors\/co-authors.
