Tankha Memorial International Arbitration Moot<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">The NLIU-MCA takes immense pleasure in announcing that the University shall be organizing the\u00a0<strong><u>sixth\u00a0edition<\/u><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>of\u00a0our flagship event, that is, the\u00a0<strong>NLIU &#8211; Justice R.K. Tankha Memorial International Arbitration Moot<\/strong>. The moot is scheduled to take place from\u00a0<strong>05 March to 07 March 2021 (Friday to Sunday).\u00a0<\/strong>This will be the\u00a0<strong>first online edition<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><strong><u>The Moot and its partners<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">The Moot is organized annually in partnership with the Office of Senior Advocate and Member of Parliament \u2013 Mr. Vivek Tankha\u00a0in the memory of late<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Hon\u2019ble Mr. Justice R.K. Tankha.\u00a0Jus Mundi is the Official Research Partner for the Competition and Transnational Dispute Management (TDM) is the Official Media Partner. The Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) and L&amp;L Partners Law Offices (f\/k\/a Luthra &amp; Luthra) are respectively our Institutional and Law Firm Partners.\u00a0The National Forum for Research in Arbitration Law (NFRAL) is the Official Knowledge Partner.\u00a0<strong><em>Awards include cash prizes to the tune of INR 2,50,000<\/em><\/strong>, trophies, and access to various research resources.\u00a0The Case Record\/Moot Problem this year has been drafted by\u00a0<em><strong>Ms. Velislava Hristova<\/strong><\/em>, a Bulgarian qualified lawyer, specializing in International Arbitration.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">The Moot has the distinction of being the most participated and sought-after moot in India. In the past years, the Moot has attracted participation from premier national and international universities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><strong><u>Important Dates<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Release of Case Record<\/strong> \u2013 22\u00a0September 2020<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Last Date for Provisional Registration<\/strong>: 16 October 2020 (Indian Teams)<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Last Date of Registration (to be completed only after confirmation)<\/strong> \u2013 7\u00a0November 2020<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Submission of Memorial<\/strong> \u2013 7\u00a0February 2020<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Oral Rounds<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 5-7\u00a0March 2021<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><strong><u>Platform<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">The competition will be organized virtually through video conferencing.
