Hidayatullah National Law University is all set to launch its publications division \u2013\u2018HNLU PRESS\u2019 on Sunday 4th<\/sup> October, 2020. The \u2018HNLU PRESS\u2019 is first of its kind publication division among the law schools in the country which is dedicated to bring out Journals, Monographs, Case Law Compendiums, Audio books, Multimedia content on law, social sciences and other subjects interfacing with law. The platform will stabilize existing publications of HNLU and will foray into other avenues of dissemination of research materials. The HNLU PRESS will connect with veteran contributors as well as young talents from across the country and abroad for content. The publications will have \u2018Faculty Edited\u2019 and \u2018Student Scholar Edited\u2019 content and HNLU will be forming \u2018peer review editorial board\u2019 to\u00a0 scale up the quality and rigour of the content.<\/p>\n

Speaking on the launch HNLU PRESS -Prof. V.C. Vivekanandan, Vice Chancellor of HNLU remarked, \u201cThe research front of law schools in India require innovative invigoration to disseminate the fast-emerging Indian Jurisprudence in various branches of Law. HNLU PRESS is an innovative platform which will open up an avenue for young faculty, student scholars for their expressions with a professional approach and a dedicated financial outlay.\u201d<\/u><\/em><\/p>\n

The launch of \u201cHNLU PRESS\u201d will take place on Sunday,4th<\/sup> October 2020 with a panel discussion titled \u201cCartographing the future of Research Publication of Indian Law Schools\u201d to be addressed by Honourable Justice Shri G Raghuram, Director of National Judicial Academy, Bhopal; Prof.(Dr.) C. Rajkumar, Vice Chancellor, Jindal Global University and Shri Sumain Malik, Founder & CEO of SCC Online and Executive Director of EBC with Prof.V.C. Vivekanandan, Vice Chancellor of HNLU as the Discussant. The Journal of Law and Social Sciences (JLSS) IVth<\/sup> and Vth<\/sup> editions will be launched as electronic editions during the programme.<\/p>\n

SCC Online and EBC are Knowledge Partners for the event, and Live Law is Media Partner for the same.<\/p>\n

The programme in Cisco Webex is open for registration at press@hnlu.ac.in<\/a> . The \u2018HNLU PRESS\u2019 platform will be coordinated by Mr.Jeevan Sagar, faculty of HNLU and managed by the digital@hnlu faculty team.<\/p>\n
