Our initiatives are backed by an illustrious board of advisors including legal luminaries like Dr. Upendra Baxi (Prof., University of Warwick), Justice G.S. Singhvi (Former Judge, Supreme Court of India), and Mr. Pradeep S. Mehta (Secretary-General, CUTS International).<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div>In order to increase legal literacy amongst school students, we are organizing the \u201cLex Quest Essay writing competition\u201d. The purpose of the Competition is to make students think and increase their knowledge about important yet unexplored legal areas of our day-to-day life.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div>The essay competition is divided into two categories:<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div>\u00b7 Participant Category 1: Class 9th and 10th:<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div>Topic: Virtual education: Impact on students and suitability in India?<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div>\u00a0\u00b7 Participant Category 2: Class 11th and 12th<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div>Topic: Impact of New Education Policy: Are further reforms needed?<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div>The registration for the competition begins tomorrow i.e. September 15, 2020, and close on September 26, 2020. The participants can register for the essay competition by paying a nominal fee of \u20b9 100 by the registration deadline, i.e. September 26, 2020.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div>The winner of the Competition will be awarded a cash prize of\u00a0 \u20b9 5,000\/- and the first and second runners-up will be awarded \u20b9 3,000\/- and \u20b9 2,000\/- each. Along with this, the top five entries from each category will be published on our website.
