{"id":234889,"date":"2020-08-27T15:52:18","date_gmt":"2020-08-27T10:22:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/blog\/?p=234889"},"modified":"2023-10-03T15:04:29","modified_gmt":"2023-10-03T09:34:29","slug":"delhi-high-court-issues-standard-operating-procedure-for-the-resumption-of-physical-functioning-from-01-09-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/blog\/post\/2020\/08\/27\/delhi-high-court-issues-standard-operating-procedure-for-the-resumption-of-physical-functioning-from-01-09-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"Delhi High Court issues Standard Operating Procedure for the resumption of physical functioning from 01-09-2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Standard Operating Procedure for the resumption of physical functioning in the Delhi High Court from 01-09-2020<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 1\">\n<div class=\"section\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<ul>\n<li>Regulations relating to entry in the court blocks for attending physical hearings and VC Court Rooms for VC Hearings<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 1\">\n<div class=\"section\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<ol>\n<li>Entry into the court block, for the purposes of attending physical hearings and VC hearings, shall stand restricted.<\/li>\n<li>No entry in the court blocks shall be permitted to:-<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Juniors, Interns or law students associated with the Advocate concerned<\/li>\n<li>Relative of any party-in-person\/litigant<\/li>\n<li>Non-registered clerks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>3. <span style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\">No litigant, who is represented by any Advocate, would be permitted entry unless there is specific direction by the Hon\u2019ble Court.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>4. <span style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\">Advocates, Party-in-person and registered clerks above the age of 65 years and those suffering from co-morbidities may refrain from appearing in courts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>5. <span style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\">Persons displaying symptoms of flu, fever, cough, etc. shall not be permitted entry inside the court complex.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>6. Mandatory norms are to be followed by all concerned who are permitted to enter the Court building\/Court Room.<\/p>\n<p>Further, the SOP has been listed under the following
