The Centre fosters R&amp;D activities that blend with its central mission of intellectual pursuit as well as link related inter-disciplinary involvement to develop an intellectual law-database, which would benefit the nation at large. The main objective of the Centre is to evolve into a flagship institution of intellectual property law studies in India.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">CIPR is proactively engaged in the organization of seminars, workshops and conferences, publishing its flagship journal \u2018<em>The IP Law Review<\/em>\u2019, and its blog, <em>The IP Site<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><u>About <em>The IP Site<\/em><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>The IP Site<\/em> is a leading Intellectual Property Law blog, founded as an initiative of the CIPR, NUALS. Established in 2016, <em>The IP Site<\/em> is dedicated to the publication of original articles, essays and other similar resources on developments in Intellectual Property Law, to encourage and stimulate the awareness and importance of the same.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><u>Call for Posts<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We invite contributions from all students (including non-law students), academicians, scholars, lawyers and members of and outside the legal fraternity, to develop and enable our understanding of IPR.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We are looking for contributions on\u00a0any contemporary topics or themes of IPR\u00a0that is of relevance and significance today, in its application in India and across the world.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We accept submissions on a rolling basis.Authors contributing 4 or more posts shall be awardeda Certificate\u00a0from the CIPR, acknowledging their contributions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><u>Instructions for Submissions<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><u>Format<\/u><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Blog entries must strictly be in English and in electronic form. They are further to be submitted in .doc \/.docx \/.odt formats only.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><u>How to Send Them<\/u><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">They shall be mailed to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:ciprblog@gmail.com\"><strong>ciprblog@gmail.com<\/strong><\/a>. The mail accompanying the submission shall include the following details of the author:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Name<\/li>\n<li>E-mail-id<\/li>\n<li>Contact number<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Co-authorship is permitted, to the limit of 2 authors, in which case, the aforementioned details of both of whom, shall be included in the accompanying mail.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kindly submit the\u00a0Declaration Form\u00a0(available at the link below) duly filled, along with the mail accompanying the submission.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><u>Word Limit<\/u><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Submissions shall not exceed 1000 words (excluding endnotes). However, as a matter of editorial discretion, this may be relaxed to1500 words. Only endnotes are permitted. Hence, submissions shall not contain footnotes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><u>Presentation<\/u><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Submissions are to be made in Times New Roman, font size-12, line spacing-1.5 and endnotes\u2019 font size-10. Submissions must follow the Bluebook (20<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0Edition) style of citation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><u>Disqualifications<\/u><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Plagiarism (including self-plagiarism) shall entail immediate disqualification.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Only the first communication of your submission shall be considered.
