The blog was founded by students of various National\u00a0Law\u00a0Universities and is professionally backed by legal as well as non-legal luminaries like Professor Venkat Rao, Professor RK Bhatnagar, Senior Advocate NL Rajah and Ruchi Pant\u00a0(Head- Natural Resource Management and Biodiversity, UNDP) amongst others.\u00a0We here at ELS Review focus on inter-disciplinary discovery and dissection of\u00a0law. We attempt to escape from the four walls of the statutes and synthesize thoughts and ideas from other disciplines so as to link them with\u00a0law.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Law\u00a0cannot be understood in pure isolation and it is bound to intersect with disciplines like economics, philosophy, politics, and sociology, for\u00a0law\u00a0is not what is drafted by the legislatures and crafted by the judges; it is something everyone including you and we interacts with, on a daily basis.<br \/>\nWe strive to bring forth academically excellent content across various fields of\u00a0Law\u00a0and Social Sciences which includes Economics, History, Politics among others.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">General Guidelines<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">The submission should deal with a relevant\/topical issue concerning any area of Law, History, Political Science, Economics, or Policy.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Submissions are welcome\u00a0from students, researchers, practitioners, and faculty.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">The articles should be mailed to us in a word document and while formatting the document, the author(s) should keep the following things in mind:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Font size: 12 pt., Font style: Times New Roman and Line spacing: 1.5 lines.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">The authorities and sources should be duly acknowledged and hyperlinks should be used for the same. If hyperlinks are not available, then footnotes (uniform style) can be used.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">The submission should be between\u00a0<strong>1000-1200 words<\/strong>\u00a0excluding footnotes. If the author wishes to publish a longer piece, they can send the same in two parts.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Only original work of the author(s) will be accepted. Submissions will be screened for plagiarism.\u00a0<strong>Plagiarism &gt; 25 % will be a ground for rejection.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Co-authorship is allowed up to two authors.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Cross-posting is allowed with the permission of the editors<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Submission Guidelines<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Submissions must be emailed to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:editorial.elsreview@gmail.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">editorial.elsreview@gmail.<wbr \/>com<\/a>\u00a0with the subject \u2018SUBMISSION FOR ELSR\u2019.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">The body of the email must contain a short bio of the author(s) and the name of the institution that they are affiliated with.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Review Process<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">The board would look into various factors like relevance to the theme of the blog, accuracy of facts, depth of analysis, coherence in arguments, and lastly, language and structure of the content. The decision of the editorial board shall be binding and final.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Upon selection, the\u00a0author will be intimated of the same and will be required to send an image that should be representative of the submission piece.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Generally, the author(s) will be intimated about acceptance\/rejection within 7 days of submission.
