The essence of these competitions lies in providing a platform to the author(s) to showcase their skills, knowledge and expertise. The platform encourages writers to introduce novel perspectives, arguments to untouched legal subjects.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Competition Details<\/h4>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Last Date for Submission: 5th\u00a0August 2020.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Co-authorship is allowed upto a maximum of\u00a0two authors.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Awardees will be selected by our Advisory Board. (Check Advisory Board via menu)<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The participants shall have the autonomy to choose the topics of their wishes. However, it is mandatory that the topic shall be related to the\u00a0field of law and public policy.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Only\u00a0one registrationis allowed per author(s). Multiple or incomplete submissions may lead to disqualification.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All Shortlisted articles shall be subjected to a plagiarism test. Articles conceding over 25% shall stand disqualified.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once the article is forwarded for submission, the author(s) shall be said to have divested his rights in the article and the concerned article cannot be published anywhere else until and unless the entry is rejected by our team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Registration free<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Interested candidates can register through<a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/2OymWpU\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/bit.ly\/2OymWpU&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1596039928888000&amp;usg=AFQjCNG-uJjXx-Uasi7QKuBx78CRlJkFWw\" data-saferedirectreason=\"5\">\u00a0this page.<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Winning the Competition<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The winner will be rewarded with a prize of\u00a0?2000\u00a0and the\u00a0runner up\u00a0?1000.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The winners will also be\u00a0featured on our webpage and social handles.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Top 10 entries will be subsequently\u00a0published, along with the author\u2019s picture and profile.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The winners will be declared on\u00a015th August, 2020.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Submission Guidelines<\/h4>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The submission shall be made in a\u00a0word document carrying\u00a0unified formatting.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">References shall be\u00a0hyperlinked(cmd+k).<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The article must range from\u00a01200-2500 words.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Broad guidelines for marking include novelty, research, style of writing, arguments, etc. It is paramount that the\u00a0article submitted shall be bereft of grammatical errors and shall adhere to the guidelines mentioned herein to be considered as a valid entry for this competition.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The article shall not contain any details revealing the author, institution, etc. That is to be mentioned in the email itself.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Submissions are to be sent to\u00a0<em><a href=\"mailto:submissions@thelawculture.in\">submissions@thelawculture.in<\/a><\/em>\u00a0with \u201cLegal Arena \u2013 Submission\u201d as the subject of the mail.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The email is required to have the text document, details of the author including a decent photograph, and a declaration affirming the\u00a0originality of the manuscript. For eg. \u201c<em>I certify that the given article is original in its content and doesn\u2019t violate any copyright of any author.
