Studies show that interaction with nature beneficially contributes to our mental and physical health but the pandemic has posed a new challenge before us-<em>how do we engage with nature while remaining indoors? <\/em>There may be many creative ways in which individuals or groups are taking up this challenge and they should get the attention they deserve.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Coming in the backdrop of the World Nature Conservation Day (July 28), the aim of the competition is to support and reward innovative ideas and practices relating to engagement with nature during this pandemic.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Who can participate<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The competition is open to all law students pursuing undergraduate and post graduate courses in various Indian Universities\/Institutes\/Colleges.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>How to participate<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Each participant\/Group (not more than five) to submit a write-up of 2000 words along with necessary photographs elaborating on points which include the following:-<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Ideas and practices about your own engagement with nature during this pandemic; and<\/li>\n<li>The benefits of such practice for the environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The write-up along with photographs has to be mailed to <a href=\"mailto:csenrlp@nlujodhpur.ac.in\">csenrlp@nlujodhpur.ac.in<\/a> on or before 8\/8\/2020 <em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Format<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Font<\/strong>&#8211; Times New Roman, Font Size 12;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Line spacing<\/strong>&#8211; 1.15;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Margin- <\/strong>1 on all sides.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Evaluation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The entries will be judged by a panel of esteemed professors\/luminaries in the field of Environmental Law.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Awards<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The 1<sup>st<\/sup> Prize will be a cash prize of Rs.5000;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Prize will be a cash prize of Rs.3000;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The 3<sup>rd<\/sup> Prize will be a cash prize of Rs.2000;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Honourable Mentions will be provided Certificates of Merit.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Registration<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Each entry shall pay a registration amount of Rs.500 in the following link &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nlujodhpur.ac.in\/fee.php\">http:\/\/www.nlujodhpur.ac.in\/fee.php<\/a> at \u2018Payment Other than Semester Fee\u2019 specifying the purpose of payment as \u201cCSENRLP Writing Competition August 2020\u201d.
