In India, we are presently working in the fields of Green energy, Green Finance and Regulations and other environmental laws under the mentorship of Justice Wilson from the Hawaii Supreme Court. We are primarily focused on increasing climate literacy and drafting policy and legislation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A key aspect of this organization is the Final Stand Blog, a focused and convenient avenue\u00a0for\u00a0those who are interested in writing and are keen to publish ideas on the contemporary issues surrounding Climate Change. Given the growing interest in the legal fraternity in developments on international environmental law and its increasing prominence, discussion on it is more relevant now than ever.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>The Final Stand<\/b>\u00a0is announcing its<b>\u00a0First Bi-Annual<\/b><b>\u00a0<\/b><b>Essay\u00a0Writing Competition\u00a0<\/b>for university students.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b><u>Participation Guidelines:<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u2022The essays must be restricted to areas pertaining to either Environmental Law or the science, politics or economics of Climate Change.<br \/>\n\u2022The authors must be enrolled in any recognized Indian University.<\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u2022\u00a0Co-authorship of entries (maximum two) among individuals from the same or different\u00a0institutions is allowed.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,Times,serif;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,Times,serif;\"><b><u>Note:<\/u><\/b>\u00a0 The entry fee for Sole authorship is INR 100 and 200 INR for co-authorship which should be directed\u00a0<u>through UPI to\u00a0<b>9643<\/b><\/u><b>717049@upi<\/b><b>\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0or through\u00a0<u><b>Paytm at the following phone number &#8211; (9501119302)\u00a0<\/b><\/u>by 11:59 pm, 10th July 2020.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,Times,serif;\">The participants are requested to send a screen-shot of the transfer post the submission of the entry fee to\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><u><a href=\"mailto:thefinalstand@jgu.edu.in\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">thefinalstand@jgu.edu.in<\/a><\/u><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b><u>Prizes<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u2022Top three entries will be receiving a \u2018certificate of achievement\u2019 and an opportunity to intern with The Final Stand.<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u2022\u00a0A \u2018certificate of merit\u2019 shall be provided to the selected entries.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u2022 Selected entries will be published on \u2018The Final Stand Blog\u2019.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u2022 A maximum of 2 entries are permissible per author.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u2022\u00a0Entries should be original, unpublished and non-plagiarised.
