Supreme Court<\/strong>: The 3-judge bench of Ashok Bhushan, SK Kaul and MR Shah, JJ has dismissed the plea seeking a direction to the Central Government to make appropriate use of Indian Community Welfare Fund (ICWF) towards repatriation of the economically weaker Indian expatriates including migrant labourers stranded in Gulf countries.<\/p>\n

The Court asked the petitioner to make an appropriate representation to the Government of India after Solicitor General Tushar Mehta submitted before the Court that use or allocation of Government Funds are policy matters and if the petitioner makes a representation to the Government, the same shall be considered by the Government in accordance with law.<\/p>\n
