It is an online elocution competition that aims to further the existing discourse regarding COVID-19 while giving students a platform to hone their public speaking skills and raise their voice regarding the ongoing pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>The theme of the competition is &#8220;New World Order in Wake of COVID \u2013 19 &#8211; Opportunities and Encumbrances \/ ????? \u2013 ?? ?? ?????? ??? ?????-????????, ???? ??? ???????? |&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The following rules and guidelines have to be followed:<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Interested participants shall submit an .mp4 file of their entry to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:usllscompetitions.ggsipu@gmail.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">usllscompetitions.ggsipu@<wbr \/>gmail.com<\/a>\u00a0by\u00a0<b>11:59 AM, 28th May, 2020.<\/b><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large;\">The maximum time for a speech is 3 minutes, and the submission should not exceed 70MB.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Speeches can be delivered in Hindi or English.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Use of un-parliamentary language or socially, morally suggestive expressions is prohibited. Any attempts for politicizing the issue, promoting bias against a certain community or any such acts will lead to disqualification.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Any other use of unfair means to manipulate the polling process shall lead to disqualification.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Entries shall be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large;\">The University shall retain all rights to submitted videos.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">The submitted entries shall be uploaded on Youtube, following which the polling process will commence on 29th May, 2020.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">The judging criteria is as follows:<\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large;\">60% weightage will be given to the judges&#8217; score of the event. The judges shall score the entries based on their Content, Clarity, Delivery and Awareness (of the issue).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large;\">40% weightage will be given to the number of likes of a video, adjusted for relativity to other entries.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Top 2 speakers will be selected from both Hindi &amp; English categories, and will receive a special E-Certificate of Merit. The overall Best Speaker, with the highest scores regardless of categories, will receive an E-Certificate of Merit along with any other reward the University so
