GJLE is a student edited, blind peer-reviewed, annual law journal which aims at providing a platform for an inter-disciplinary approach towards the study of law from an economic perspective.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the past, the journal has seen contributions from eminent legal scholars from around the globe like Professor Thomas S. Ulen, Prof. Dr. Hans-Bernd Sch\u00e4fer, Prof. Nuno Garoupa and Professor R\u00e9gisLanneau among several others. GJLE prides in its great advisory board which includes Supreme Court Judges, Lawyers and Professors from around the globe.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Guidelines<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">GJLE is open for academicians, practitioners, research scholars and students. Co-authorship is allowed to a maximum of 2 authors. However, co-authorship is not allowed in case of Case Comment, Legislative Comment and Book Review. All submissions must contain an abstract (not more than 500 words) and at most 5 keywords. Along with the manuscript, a separate cover letter which must include the following details:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Name of Author(s)<\/li>\n<li>Contact Details\u2013 Address and Mobile No.<\/li>\n<li>Name and Address of Institution<\/li>\n<li>Academic Qualifications \/ Affiliations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Please note that the journal follows the theme of Law and Economics exclusively.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Categories<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Articles (6000-8000 words, excluding footnotes).<\/li>\n<li>Essays (3500-6000 words, excluding footnotes).<\/li>\n<li>Book Reviews\/Case Commentaries\/ Short Notes (1500-3500 words, excluding footnotes).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Kindly adhere to word limit prescribed.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Formatting and Citation Style<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Submissions must be made in Microsoft Office (doc.\/docx.) formats only. Plagiarism of any sort will result in immediate disqualification.<\/li>\n<li>The paper should be free from all grammatical and spelling errors.<\/li>\n<li>The body of the manuscript must be in the font \u201cTimes New Roman\u201d, font size 12, line spacing 1.5 and alignment \u201cjustify\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>All footnotes must be in Font \u201cTimes New Roman\u201d, font size 10, line spacing 1 and alignment \u201cjustify\u201d. All submissions must follow the \u201cThe Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (20th Edition)\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Non-conformity could be a ground for rejection.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Submission Procedure\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>All submissions must be made to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:cle@gnlu.ac.in\"><strong><em>cle@gnlu.ac.in<\/em><\/strong><\/a>with the subject \u201cManuscript Submission for Volume II.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>The deadline for making submissions is\u00a0<strong>20 June, 2020<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>All papers must necessarily be accompanied with a\u00a0<strong>\u2018Conclusion\u2019<\/strong>putting forth the authors\u2019 views and opinions on the subject matter.<\/li>\n<li>Authors can expect to receive decisions on their submissions within two months of their submissions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Please note that the procedure for reviewing manuscripts is based on the anonymity of the author and the confidentiality of the editors\u2019 and reviewers\u2019 reports is maintained at all stages.
