are likely to be heard by the Supreme Court through Video Conferencing from June 1, 2020.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Earlier, the Registry had <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/blog\/post\/2020\/05\/17\/supreme-court-summer-vacation-rescheduled\/\">notified the new schedule for summer vacations of the Court.<\/a> The Notice read:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;the period from 18th May, 2020 to 19th June, 2020 (both inclusive) shall be declared as period functioning for the Supreme Court of India.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Court was originally supposed to remain closed from May 18, 2020 to July 5, 2020 but the same was changed due to the ongoing Coronavirus Pandemic. \u00a0The Court had, on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/blog\/post\/2020\/03\/23\/coronavirus-covid-19-no-in-person-hearings-in-sc-till-further-notice-extremely-urgent-matters-to-be-heard-via-video-conference\/\">March 23, 2020<\/a>, opted to hold video-conference to hear urgent matters in an unprecedented move<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Click <a
