Under the India-UK Extradition Treaty, the UK Home Office of minister Priti Patel is now expected to formally certify the court order for Vijay Mallya to be extradited to India within 28 days.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Thus, after the said, Mallya has no legal options left.<\/p>\n<p>He was arrested by the UK authorities on April 20, 2017 on the request of the Indian investigative agencies.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Vijay Mallya denied leave to appeal in UK Supreme Court against ruling with regard to his extradition today.
