{"id":228883,"date":"2020-04-30T11:35:42","date_gmt":"2020-04-30T06:05:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/blog\/?p=228883"},"modified":"2020-04-30T11:35:42","modified_gmt":"2020-04-30T06:05:42","slug":"commercial-courts-statistical-data-rules-amended-data-to-be-maintained-specified-by-adding-schedule-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/blog\/post\/2020\/04\/30\/commercial-courts-statistical-data-rules-amended-data-to-be-maintained-specified-by-adding-schedule-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Commercial Courts (Statistical Data) Rules amended; Data to be maintained specified by adding Schedule 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>G.S.R. 270(E).\u2014<\/strong>In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 21A of the Commercial Courts Act, 2015 (4 of 2016) read with section 17 of the said Act, <strong>the Central Government hereby makes the following rules to amend the Commercial Courts (Statistical Data) Rules, 2018, namely:-<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">1. (1) These rules may be called <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>the Commercial Courts (Statistical Data) Amendment Rules, 2020. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">2. In the Commercial Courts (Statistical Data) Rules, 2018, &#8211;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(a) rule 3 shall be renumbered as sub-rule (1) thereof, and, &#8211;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(i) in sub-rule (1) as so renumbered, for the words \u201cSchedule appended to these rules\u201d, the words and figures \u201cthe Schedule-I\u201d shall be substituted;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(ii) after sub-rule (1) as so renumbered, the following rule shall be inserted, namely:-<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201c(2) Without prejudice to the provisions contained in sub-rule (1), the concerned High Courts shall maintain the following data in the form as specified in Schedule \u2013 II, namely: &#8211;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(i) list of cases e-filed during the month;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(ii) list of cases in which e-Payment of Court fees was made during the month;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(iii) list of cases in which Electronic Service of Process has taken place during the month;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(iv) list of total number of cases randomly allocated during the month;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(v) list of cases in which case management hearing was held during the month;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(vi) contested commercial cases disposed during the month;
