The People&#8217;s Republic of China | &#8220;Appalling campaign of deceit, concealment, misfeasance, and inaction by Chinese authorities unleashed this pandemic&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>As reported by Economic Times<\/em>, A Lawsuit has been filed by Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt against the Chinese government, the ruling Chinese Communist Party, and other Chinese officials and institutions, for suppressing information about the highly contagious COVID-19.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Allegations were placed that Beijing suppressed information, arrested whistleblowers and denied the contagious nature of coronavirus that led to the loss of lives and caused &#8220;irreparable damage&#8221; to countries globally.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As reported by BBC,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;In Missouri, the impact of the virus is very real &#8211; thousands have been infected and many have died, families have been separated from dying loved ones, small businesses are shuttering their doors, and those living paycheck to paycheck are struggling to put food on their table,&#8221; Mr Schmitt said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Chinese government has also been accused of making the pandemic worse by &#8220;hoarding&#8221; personal protective equipment (PPE). Further it has been alleged that, the Chinese Government destroyed critical medical research, permitted millions of people to be exposed to the virus.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Chinese health officials did not report the outbreak to the World Health Organization until December 31. When the Chinese authorities did inform the WHO of the outbreak, they denied the potential for human-to-human transmission.<\/em><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 1\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">State of Missouri seeks recovery for the enormous loss of life, human suffering, and economic turmoil experienced by all Missourians from the COVID-19 pandemic that has disrupted the entire world.
