justify;\"><strong>G.S.R. 226(E).\u2014<\/strong>In exercise of the powers conferred by section 73A of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 (2 of 1899), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules to further amend the Indian Stamp (Collection of Stamp-Duty through Stock Exchanges, Clearing Corporations and Depositories) Rules, 2019, namely:-<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(1) (1) These rules may be called as<span style=\"color: #008000;\"> the Indian Stamp (Collection of Stamp-Duty through Stock Exchanges, Clearing Corporations and Depositories) (Second Amendment) Rules, 2020<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(2) In the Indian Stamp (Collection of Stamp-Duty through Stock Exchanges, Clearing Corporations and Depositories) Rules, 2019, as amended by the Indian Stamp (Collection of Stamp-Duty through Stock Exchanges, Clearing Corporations and Depositories) (Amendment) Rules, 2020, in rule (1), in sub-rule (2), <strong>for the words and figures \u201c1st day of April 2020\u201d the words, figures and letters \u201c1st day of July 2020\u201d shall be substituted.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>What the amendment means?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Indian Stamp (Collection of Stamp-Duty through Stock Exchanges, Clearing Corporations and Depositories) (Second Amendment) Rules, 2020 shall come into force from 01-07-2020.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color:
