An Act further to amend the Constitution (Scheduled Tribes) Order, 1950 to modify the list of the Scheduled Tribes in the State of Karnataka. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

BE it enacted by Parliament in the Seventy-first Year of the Republic of India as follows:\u2014<\/p>\n

1. This Act may be called the Constitution (Scheduled Tribes) Order (Amendment) Act, 2020.<\/p>\n

2. In the Constitution (Scheduled Tribes) Order, 1950, in the Schedule, in Part VI. \u2014 Karnataka,\u2014<\/p>\n

(a) in entry 38, for the words “Naikda, Nayaka”, the words and brackets “Naikda, Nayaka (including Parivara and Talawara)” shall be substituted;<\/span><\/p>\n

(b) in entry 50, for the brackets and words “(in Uttar Kannada district)”, the brackets and words “(in Belagavi, Dharwad and Uttar Kannada districts)” shall be substituted.<\/span><\/p>\n
