This Act may be called the Aircraft (Amendment) Act, 2020.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 2\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 4\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 5\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 7\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Aircraft (Amendment) Bill, 2020 provides for the following, namely:\u2014<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(a) to define the expressions \u201cDirectorate General of Civil Aviation\u201d, \u201cBureau of Civil Aviation Security\u201d and \u201cAircraft Accidents Investigation Bureau\u201d;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(b) to empower the Central Government to constitute the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Bureau of Civil Aviation Security and Aircraft Accidents Investigation Bureau under the Act and to specify their responsibilities thereof;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(c) to empower the Central Government to issue directions to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Bureau of Civil Aviation Security and Aircraft Accidents Investigation Bureau on any matter if it is considered necessary so to do in public interest;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(d) to empower the Central Government to review any order passed by the Director General of Civil Aviation and the Director General of Civil Aviation Security and also direct them to rescind or modify such order;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(e) to include regulation of all areas of air navigation services;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(f) to empower the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security or any authorised officer to issue directions;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(g) to enhance the maximum limit of fine from the existing ten lakh rupees to one crore rupees;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(h) to appoint designated officers for adjudging penalties;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(i) to provide for compounding of offences;<\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 8\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(j) to keep air craft belonging to any armed forces of the Union other than naval, military or air force outside the purview of the Act.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>*To read the Bill, click the link below:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/164.100.47.4\/BillsTexts\/LSBillTexts\/PassedLoksabha\/28-C_2020_LS_Eng.pdf\">Aircraft (Amendment) Bill, 2020<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Lok Sabha<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lok Sabha passed the Aircraft ( Amendment) Bill, 2020 on 17-03-2020.
