{"id":227042,"date":"2020-03-14T23:33:21","date_gmt":"2020-03-14T18:03:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/blog\/?p=227042"},"modified":"2020-03-14T23:33:21","modified_gmt":"2020-03-14T18:03:21","slug":"central-government-constitutes-national-company-law-appellate-tribunal-nclat-at-chennai","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/blog\/post\/2020\/03\/14\/central-government-constitutes-national-company-law-appellate-tribunal-nclat-at-chennai\/","title":{"rendered":"Central Government constitutes &#8212; National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) at Chennai"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>S.O. 1060(E).\u2014<\/strong>In exercise of the powers conferred by section 410 of the Companies Act, 2013 (18 of 2013), the <span style=\"color: #800080;\">Central Government hereby constitutes another Bench of the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) at Chennai to hear the appeals against the orders of the Benches of the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) having jurisdiction of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Lakshadweep <\/span>and<span style=\"color: #800080;\"> Puducherry<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">2. The Bench of the NCLAT at New Delhi shall be known as the Principal Bench of the NCLAT which shall continue to hear appeals other than those in the jurisdiction of Chennai Bench of the NCLAT.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">3.
