{"id":225282,"date":"2020-02-06T22:27:02","date_gmt":"2020-02-06T16:57:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/blog\/?p=225282"},"modified":"2020-02-06T22:27:02","modified_gmt":"2020-02-06T16:57:02","slug":"call-for-papers-journal-of-sports-law-policy-and-governance-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/blog\/post\/2020\/02\/06\/call-for-papers-journal-of-sports-law-policy-and-governance-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for Papers | Journal of Sports Law, Policy and Governance"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\"><u>Call for Papers: Journal of Sports Law, Policy and Governance ( Published by NESFIL in collaboration with National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam): Rolling Submissions accepted till 31st March 2020.<\/u><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b><u>ABOUT THE JOURNAL\u00a0<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The\u00a0JSLPG (Journal of Sports Law, Policy and Governance) is\u00a0the flagship journal of the North East Students for the Furtherance of International Law (An ILSA Chapter) published in association with National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">We at National Law University and Judicial Academy Assam are playing a small role in building a knowledge platform for qualitative research in Sports and allied areas\u00a0 coming out with a unique and first of its kind Sports Law Journal on a global level with an esteemed panel of advisors and editors.\u00a0 Our aim with such an initiative is to provide an essential service to the legal community by organizing, archiving, and unifying the data relating to Sports Law and allied areas.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The<b>\u00a0double-blind, peer-reviewed, open-access<\/b>\u00a0JSLPG appreciates both\u00a0empirical\u00a0and\u00a0theoretical contributions. The Journal welcomes original\u00a0research articles, book reviews, essays, case commentaries and policy reviews\u00a0relevant to the fields of International Sports Law, Policy and Governance. The Journal expects high-quality contributions from eminent jurists, academicians, working professionals, policymakers, scholars and research students for the\u00a0Volume II Issue I\u00a0of the journal, due to be published\u00a0in\u00a0August 2020.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Submissions must be original, unpublished works and should not be simultaneously considered by any other publication at the time of submission and the reviewing process. After review, manuscripts may be returned to authors for including suggestions made by the editorial panel. Acceptance of the piece for publication may be made contingent upon incorporating such suggestions.\u00a0All submissions will be reviewed and evaluated based on originality, research, and relevance to the journal.
