F.No.14016\/34\/2016.UTS-I.\u2014<\/strong>In pursuance to the Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu (Merger of Union Territories) Act, 2019 issued on 9th December, 2019 and Notification No. U-11011\/2\/2019- UTL dated 19th December, 2019 [S.O.4542(E) & S.O.4543(E)] indicating the date of effect of the provisions of the said Act as 26.01.2020 and in exercise of powers conferred on him by Clause (1) of Article 239 of the Constitution, the President of India is pleased to appoint Shri Prafulbhai Khodabhai Patel, as Administrator of Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu w.e.f. 26.01.2020 and until further orders.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
