NHRC issued the following statement with respect to the police action in Jamia:<\/p>\n

It has been brought to the notice of the National Human Rights Commission, NHRC, India that certain individuals are attributing that the Commission has condemned police action in Jamia Millia Islamia. This statement is incorrect and the matter is still under enquiry.<\/p>\n
