{"id":223107,"date":"2019-12-11T11:58:56","date_gmt":"2019-12-11T06:28:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/blog\/?p=223107"},"modified":"2019-12-12T20:17:31","modified_gmt":"2019-12-12T14:47:31","slug":"symbhav-legal-events-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/blog\/post\/2019\/12\/11\/symbhav-legal-events-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"Symbhav-Legal Events 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">SIU was established under Section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, in the year 2002.\u00a0Symbiosis Law School, Pune is a constituent of Symbiosis International (Deemed University).\u00a0Symbiosis Law School, Pune (SLS Pune) in 2019 has been ranked 7th by National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) Ministry of Human Resource Development India among the Law Institutes all over the country.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">This year, Symbhav is set to drop its anchor on the\u00a0<strong>28th of February, 2020<\/strong>\u00a0with the festivities continuing\u00a0<strong>until the 1st of March, 2020<\/strong>\u00a0at the New Viman Nagar Campus of Symbiosis Law School, Pune.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Legal events have been an important part of Symbhav over the years and we consider it a great opportunity to experiment with different kinds of events and host events of the highest quality for all participants. Along with the Nithin Patil Memorial Mono Advocacy Competition, Symbhav 2020 will see a host of\u00a0<strong><em>Legal Events<\/em><\/strong>, viz.:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Client Counselling<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Judgement Writing<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mediation<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Negotiation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">These events will be taking place from\u00a0<strong>28<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0February 2020\u00a0<\/strong>to<strong>\u00a01<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0March 2020<\/strong>, at<strong>\u00a0Symbiosis Law School, Pune<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">The four diverse events have been curated and shaped into formats that are aimed at testing the participants\u2019 ability to represent a client unreservedly, inculcate the ability to not just perceive the law from a singular perspective but also create a balanced impression of a legal position, as well as testing everything from researching and drafting skills to oratory and deliberation skills. The format for each competition and the Rules &amp; Regulations for each of them are attached as a separate document below.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><strong>Participation and Registration<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">The participant shall be a student in any 3 year or 5 year law course or any other undergraduate or postgraduate law degree, from any institution.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Kindly fill in the following google form to register provisionally\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/g1SbzAFecYKGDLDaA\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/forms.gle\/g1SbzAFecYKGDLDaA&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1576081179803000&amp;usg=AFQjCNECVkSg2EQ-ecocMhDLH-TxG_tTzA\">here<\/a>\u00a0for Client Counselling, Mediation, Negotiation or Judgement Writing competitions.
