The\u00a0RGNUL Student Research Review\u00a0(RSRR) is a bi-annual, student-run, blind peer-reviewed\u00a0legal journal\u00a0based at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab. In addition to this,\u00a0RSRR\u00a0began with its\u00a0RSRR\u00a0Blog Series\u00a0in 2017.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Editorial Board seeks to publish its ‘Call for Blogs\u2019 through your website, so as to spread awareness among law students, academicians, and professionals and welcome their contribution to the upcoming edition.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

About\u00a0RSRR<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

RGNUL Student Research Review (RSRR) is a bi-annual, student-run, blind peer-reviewed legal journal based at the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab. The\u00a0RSRR\u00a0Blog was established in 2017 as a medium of voicing opinions and sparking discussions.\u00a0The\u00a0RSRR\u00a0Journal and Blogs aim to publish comprehensive treatments of subjects from academicians, practitioners, legal luminaries and students.<\/p>\n

The Editorial Board\u00a0invites submissions for the\u00a0RSRR\u00a0Blog Series on\u00a0\u201cChallenging the Regime of National Security Laws\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Background<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

National Security Laws are very crucial for any country in its defence and security arenas and adds to the strength of the country in dealing with adversities for the nation. The recent turn of events like the repeal of the special status of Jammu and Kashmir invoke a heightened check on the proper application of the national security laws. Moreover, the policies and bilateral or multilateral agreements that have been signed by India also form a part of the national security. In situations, where imminent security concerns arise, it is important that such laws do not overshadow the basic human rights of people in the pursuit of protection of the State and a balance is struck.<\/p>\n

This blog series aims to foster discussion on the validity of the national security policies of India, the legislations and their underlying principles from an analytical perspective and to provide constructive solutions for better legislations in a safer world.<\/p>\n

    The submissions are, however,\u00a0not\u00a0restricted to the aforesaid sub-themes, provided they fall within the ambit of the main theme.<\/p>\n

    Submission Guidelines and Procedure<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. All submissions must be in Garamond, font size 12, spacing 1.5.<\/li>\n
    2. All endnotes should be in Garamond 10, single-spaced.<\/li>\n
    3. Margins: Left 1.5 Inch, Right 1 Inch, Top 1 Inch, and Bottom 1 Inch.<\/li>\n
    4. Word Limit for each post is a maximum of\u00a01500-2100 words<\/strong>(exclusive of endnotes).<\/li>\n
    5. Authors are required to provide an\u00a0abstract <\/strong>of around\u00a0100-150 words<\/strong> along with keywords that represent the essence of the submission. The abstract is to be submitted along with the article, itself.<\/li>\n
    6. Please ensure the\u00a0inclusion of endnotes <\/strong>instead of footnotes.<\/li>\n
    7. A uniform style of citation is necessary for acceptance.<\/li>\n
    8. The manuscript should be accompanied by a cover letter specifying the author\u2019s name, designation, institute, contact number, and email for future reference. [Authors are requested to not put their name anywhere in the main manuscript<\/strong>].<\/li>\n
    9. All entries should be submitted in .doc or .docx format.<\/li>\n
    10. The manuscripts must be e-mailed to\u00a0submissionsrslr@rgnul.ac.in.<\/a><\/li>\n
    11. The subject of the e-mail should be titled \u201cSubmission for RSRR Blog Series: National Securities Law<\/strong>\u201d.<\/li>\n
    12. Entries that will be selected after the review stages shall be published on the RSRR Blog Series.<\/li>\n
    13. E-certificates will be awarded to the authors of each published blog.<\/li>\n
    14. Co-authorship of a\u00a0maximum of 2 <\/strong>is permitted.<\/li>\n
    15. The author(s) bear sole responsibility for the accuracy of facts, opinions or views stated in the submitted Manuscript.<\/li>\n
    16. In the case of gross plagiarism found in the contents of the submitted manuscript, the manuscript shall be subject to rejection.<\/li>\n
    17. Copyright of all blog posts shall remain with RGNUL Student Research Review.<\/li>\n
    18. All Moral Rights shall vest with the author(s).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
