TNNLU\u00a0is organizing the\u00a02nd<\/sup>\u00a0National\u00a0Med-Arb competition which\u00a0will be held from\u00a031st<\/sup>\u00a0January 2020 – 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0February 2020<\/strong>. We expect diverse nation-wide participation in this unique rendition of Med-Arb which is conceived and developed to foster\u00a0the skills and knowledge of the budding lawyers of India.<\/p>\n

2nd TNNLU NATIONAL MED-ARB COMPETITION (\u00a0TNNLU\u00a0NMAC),\u00a02020:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The\u00a0Med-Arb\u00a0Competition has a blend of both mediation and arbitration which aims at\u00a0stimulating and nurturing the thought process of the students to resolve disputes through ADR Mechanisms.\u00a0Starting with the most informal and least restrictive form of ADR,\u00a0the parties will try to resolve their disputes through mediation. The parties will then be required to resolve their dispute through arbitration. The Med-Arb competition\u00a0initiates with the informal and cooperative approach of mediation.\u00a0The flexibility of med-arb\u00a0then\u00a0allows shifting to the more structured and adversarial process of arbitration.<\/p>\n

The teams will be selected on a first come first serve basis.\u00a0Only one team per University is allowed to participate. Teams can apply by filling up the form in the link available\u00a0here<\/a>.<\/p>\n
