F. No.018\/Cluster\/Tpt\/2019\/755\/76919 .\u2014<\/strong>In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (d) of sub-section (2) of Section 45 and clause (d) of sub-section(1) of section 19 of the Road Transport Corporation Act, 1950 (64 of 1950) read with Delhi Road Transport (Amendment) Act, 1971, the Delhi Transport Corporation (Free and Concessional Passes) Regulations, 1985 are hereby amended and after Para (vi) of serial number 3 of the Delhi Transport Corporation (Free and Concessional Passes) Regulation, 1985, the following shall be inserted namely:-<\/p>\n

\u201c(vii) Female passengers to travel free in DTC buses (both AC and Non-AC) by issuance of \u201cSingle Journey Free Travel Pass\u201d. However, they will have the option to purchase ticket for the journey\u201d.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

2. This notification shall come into force on 29th October, 2019 or the date of its publication in the Official Gazette, whichever is later.<\/p>\n

3. This issues with the approval of Minister (Transport), Government of NCT of Delhi.<\/p>\n
