National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi is organising a one-day Seminar on Mob Lynching and Vigilantism: A Human Rights Perspective, on 10th of December, 2019. The seminar is being organized by the Centre of Human Rights and Subaltern Studies (CHRSS), National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi.<\/p>\n

Mob lynching involves a group of violent people attacking and lynching a person or group of person amounting to hate crimes on the ground of religious violence, caste-based discrimination or targeting a particular community which is very issue and great threat for human rights. In spite of having an Independent Judicial system, people have moved out for public justice system which is a great threat to democratic setup.<\/div>\n
