With the ever growing presence of business conglomerates like Google, Reliance etc. competition law now is more relevant than ever. The ILS Competition Law Cell has been successful in organizing and undertaking conferences, competitions and diplomas in collaboration with esteemed law firms and organizations.The main goal of the Cell is to provide an opportunity for students to broaden their knowledge of competition law and to interact with other students who have a shared interest in the same. This is crucial in making the Indian jurisprudence on competition law more comprehensive.In furtherance of this goal, the Competition Law cell is organizing its\u00a01st\u00a0National Essay Writing Competition, 2019\u00a0in collaboration with the esteemed law firm,\u00a0Gaggar and Partners.This is a one of a kind opportunity for students interested in this niche area of law to not only broaden their knowledge about the law but also grab lucrative\u00a0cash prizes\u00a0and an\u00a0internship\u00a0with Gaggar and Partners. The deadline for the same is 30th\u00a0October 2019.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">ELIGIBILITY<br \/>\nThe competition is open to all students enrolled in an undergraduate program both 5-year integrated program or 3-year law program or postgraduate law degree from any recognized university\/college\/Institution in India.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">SUBMISSION GUIDELINES<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">All essays must be submitted in English Language only.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Word Limit- 3000 words (Exclusive of Footnotes &amp; Abstract).<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Abstract \u2013 Not exceeding 250 words.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Body-Font Style- Times New Roman, Size\u2013 12 and Line Spacing\u2013 1.5, Alignment\u2013 Justified.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Citation Format \u2013 Harvard Bluebook 20th Edition.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Footnotes \u2013Font Style \u2013Times New Roman, Size\u2013 10, Line Spacing\u2013 1, Alignment\u2013 Justified.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Page Margin \u2013 2.54 cm on all sides.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Essay must be submitted only in a Word Doc.(doc.\/docx.) format.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">For maintaining anonymity, the name of the author\/institution should not be mentioned anywhere in the essay.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">All essays must be the original work of the authors.
