Short title and commencement\u2014<\/strong>(1) These rules may be called the <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Delhi Advocates\u2019 Welfare Fund (Amendment) Rules, 2019.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Delhi Gazette.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>2. Amendment of Rule 21\u2014<\/strong>In the Delhi Advocates\u2019 Welfare Fund Rules, 2001,-<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(a) Rule 21 shall be re-numbered as Rule 21 A and before that rule as so re-numbered, the following rule shall be inserted, namely:-<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><strong>\u201c21. Vakalatnama to bear stamps.\u2014<\/strong> Every advocate shall affix a stamp of a value of twenty-five rupees on every Vakalatnama to be filed by him in the courts namely Supreme Court, High Court, District Court or a court subordinate to the District Court, tribunals and other authorities, wherever Vakalatnama is filed.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>(b) In Rule 21 A as so re-numbered, for sub-rule (1), the following shall be substituted, namely:-<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><strong>\u201c21A. Value and Design of Stamps. \u2014<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>(1) Stamps shall be printed in the denominations of twenty-five rupees.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This issues with the approval of Hon\u2019ble Minister (Law), Government of NCT of Delhi.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Department of Law,
