Short title and commencement &#8212;<\/strong> (1) These regulations may be called the <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Supreme Court Legal Services Committee (Amendment) Regulations, 2019<\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">2. In the Supreme Court Legal Services Committee Regulations, 1996 (hereinafter referred to as the principal regulations), in Regulation 10, &#8211;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(i) in sub-regulation (3), for the words, \u201ctwo thousand five hundred\u201d, the words \u201ctwenty-five thousand\u201d shall be substituted.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">3. In the principal regulations, Regulation 14 shall be omitted.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">*For the purpose of understanding, let&#8217;s have a look at the earlier provision:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8212; <strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">Sub- Regulation (3) of Regulation 10<\/span><\/strong> <strong>before the amendment<\/strong> was as follows:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\">For the purpose of meeting incidental minor charges, court-fee, stamps and expenditure necessary for obtaining copies of documents, etc., a permanent advance of Rupees <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>two thousand five hundred<\/strong><\/span> shall be placed at the disposal of the Secretary of the Committee.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>After the amendment introduced, sub-regulation (3) of Regulation 10 will read as follows:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\">For the purpose of meeting incidental minor charges, court-fee, stamps and expenditure necessary for obtaining copies of documents, etc., a permanent advance of Rupees <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>twenty-five hundred<\/strong><\/span> shall be placed at the disposal of the Secretary of the Committee.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8212;
