The Centre for Business and Public Policy is organizing two days Workshop on\u00a0‘Foundations and Fundamentals of Financial Modeling’<\/strong>\u00a0on 17th and 19th September 2019. Mr. Deepak Krishnan will be conducting the workshop.<\/p>\n

About the Course:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Understanding Business and helping to make decisions from business data is a very important skill set that is needed by every professional. This serves as a perfect compliment for participants who would want to explore career in space of Equity Research, Project Finance and Merger and Acquisition Advisory.\u00a0The workshop is a primer to enable the participants to get an understanding of building a model and do some primary analysis.<\/p>\n

About the Resource Person<\/u><\/strong>:<\/u><\/p>\n

Mr. Deepak Krishnan is the founder and director of Mangrove Wealth Financial Consultants a Wealth management\u00a0\u00a0firm based out of Ahmedabad. The firm works with families on helping them in reaching their financial goals with the help of principles of Value Investing.\u00a0Apart from being into practice he has also been teaching students a course on Excel based Modeling in School of Petroleum Management, Gandhinagar since 2013. He is also a trainer for Centre for Investment Education and Learning and has travelled across the country to do training for mid and senior level finance professionals in the industry.\u00a0He is also a visiting faculty at Ahmedabad University , an ex banker with half a decade\u00a0\u00a0of experience with two banks, he is also an author of 3 books on finance that has been published by Tata McGraw Hill.<\/p>\n
