Proposal for appointment of Justice Virendra Kumar-II, Additional Judge of the Allahabad High Court, as Permanent Judge.<\/p>\n

With a view to assess merit and suitability of Justice Virendra Kumar-II for appointment as Permanent Judge, we have carefully scrutinized the material placed on record including certain complaints received against him. On overall assessment based inter alia on additional information received from the Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court, observations made by the Department of Justice in the file and having regard to all relevant factors, the Collegium is of the view that Justice Virendra Kumar-II, Additional Judge, is suitable for being appointed as Permanent Judge.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In view of the above, the Collegium resolves to recommend that Justice Virendra Kumar-II, Additional Judge be appointed as Permanent Judge of the Allahabad High Court against one of the existing vacancies.<\/p>\n
