Keeping the aim of promoting the culture of ADR among the students, MADHYASTHTA has stepped in the world of research by issuing a <strong>special edition research journal on Alternate Dispute Resolution<\/strong> in collaboration with <strong>Bharati Law Review (UGC Recognized)<\/strong> which aims at promoting a dialogue between students\/faculties from all across the country adding to research in alternative dispute resolution and will publish scholarly submissions on contemporary issues related to alterative dispute resolutions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Madhyastatha welcomes original contributions, which provide high quality legal analysis of laws and amendments, related to Arbitration, Mediation, Negotiation and Conciliation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><u>THEMES<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Alternative Dispute Resolution (Arbitration, Mediation, Negotiation)<\/li>\n<li>Arbitration and conciliation Act 1996<\/li>\n<li>International Arbitration Conventions<\/li>\n<li>Arbitration and conciliation Amendment bill 2019<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b><u>ELIGIBILITY<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>\u201c<strong>MADHYASTHTA-Solace For Every Dispute<\/strong>\u201d <\/em>is a special edition research journal in collaboration with Bharati Law Review ISSN 2278-6996 and the journal is double-blind peer-reviewed. We are looking forward for submissions from members of the Bar, Bench and the academia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Submissions can be in the form of long articles, short articles, case comments, legislative notes and book reviews.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><u>NATURE OF CONTRIBUTIONS<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Articles<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">An article must conduct a complete analysis of the area of Arbitration, Mediation and Conciliation, which the author seeks to highlight. It must contain a comprehensive study of the existing law, indicating the lacunae therein, and must contain an attempt to suggest possible changes which can address the said lacunae. An article should be between 4,000-5,000 words.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Essays<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">An essay is more adventurous as it challenges challenging existing paradigms\/norms and provides a fresh outlook to field of ADR. It is strongly recommended that essays be considerably more concise than articles, in terms of scope and conceptualization. An essay is thus advised to be between 3,000-5,000 words.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Notes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A note is a relatively concise form of an argument advanced by the author. The focus of a note should be on a relatively new debate or controversy regarding the interpretation or implementation in the laws in the field of Arbitration, Mediation and Conciliation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Notes shall primarily highlight contemporary issues of above mentioned topics, which need to be addressed, and the authors are expected to offer a solution. The maximum word limit for a manuscript in the form of note is 2,500 words.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Comments<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A comment is where the author may decide to critique any recent\/landmark judicial pronouncement or any recent legislation or bill before the Parliament or State Legislature. The word limit for a comment is 2,500 words.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><u>Submission Guidelines<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><u>Electronic Submission<\/u><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Submission of a manuscript shall be through e-mail in Microsoft Word format only.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A separate file of PDF version of the submitted manuscript is essential along with the original paper submitted in MS Word format.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><u>Length Limitations<\/u><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Articles ranging 3000-3500 words in length \u2014 the equivalent of 5 law review pages \u2014including text and footnotes are strongly preferred. Length in excess of 3500 words \u2014 the equivalent of 5 law review pages \u2014 will weigh significantly against selection.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><u>Terms of Submission<\/u><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Manuscripts should be in English. They should be written clearly and concisely. Papers must be submitted on the understanding that they have not been published elsewhere (except in the form of an abstract or as part of a published lecture, review, or thesis) and are not currently under consideration by another journal published by any publisher. The submitting author is responsible for ensuring that the article&#8217;s publication has been approved by all the other co- authors.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><u>Citation Format<\/u><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Please use References rather than Footnotes &amp; Endnotes. References shall conform to the20th edition of THE BLUEBOOK A UNIFORM SYSTEM OF CITATION.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Citations shall be formatted as: Justified, Times New Roman, 8pt. Spacing shall be: Before \u2013 0pt; After \u2013 0pt; Line Spacing \u2013 Single Lines; Hanging \u2013 0.5\u201d<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><u>Title and Authorship Information<\/u><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The covering letter accompanying the submitted manuscript should consist following information:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">? Paper title<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">? Author\u2019s full name<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">? Full institutional\/author\u2019s\/both mailing addresses<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">? Corresponding author&#8217;s email<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><u>Abstract<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The manuscript should contain an abstract. The abstract should be self-contained and citation-free and should not exceed 200 words. The abstract should state the purpose, approach, results and conclusions of the work. The author should assume that the reader has some knowledge of the subject but has not read the paper. Thus, the abstract should be intelligible and complete in itself (no numerical references); it should not cite figures, tables, or sections of the paper. The abstract should be written using third person instead of first person.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Abstract formatting shall be: Times New Roman, Justified, Bold, Italics, 10pt. Keywords Five key words shall be supplied below the abstract, in alphabetical order: in Times New Roman, Italics, Justified, Bold, 10pt. Text<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Each manuscript shall contain the following main sections:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">? Abstract<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">? Keywords<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">? Introduction<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">? Theoretical Background<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">? Work Suggested<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">? Results and Discussions<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">? Conclusion<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Do not submit papers without performing a careful spell check and an English language grammar check.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Articles written in poor English will be rejected without any review. Any article which does not meet the writing guidelines will be rejected.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><u>Anti-plagiarism Report<\/u><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Any article that have been plagiarized [Similarity Index more than 20%] will be rejected, and the author\/s will be banned from publishing in the journal in future too. It is mandatory to submit a separate file of Anti-plagiarism Report using <strong>TurnItIn<\/strong> or <strong>Authenticate <\/strong>software<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">along with the original manuscript.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><u>Headings<\/u><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">? Article title shall be: Central Aligned, Bold, Times New Roman, 14pt, Capital Letters for the initial letter of each noun and adjective.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">? Author\/authors name\/s shall be: Central Aligned, Bold, Times New Roman, 12pt, Capital Letters for each initial letter. There will not be any title honorifics like Mr.\/Dr.\/Mrs.\/Ms.\/Shree etc. before the author\u2019s name.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">? Author\/author\u2019s designation\/s shall be Times New Roman, Italics, Central Aligned8pt, and Capital Letters shall be used for the initial letter of each noun and adjective.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">? Main Titles\/Sections in the body text of the manuscript shall be numbered as: Central Aligned, numbered in Roman Numerical, Times New Roman, all Capital Letters,11pt.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">? Sub-sections\/Sub-titles in each section\/s shall be numbered as 1, 2 in English numericaletc. and further Sub-sub-sections1.1, 1.2, 2.1, 2.2 respectively.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">? Sub-sections shall be formatted as: Left, Times New Roman, 11pt, Capital Letters shall be used for the initial letter of each noun and adjective.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">? For Sub-sub-sections: Left, Times New Roman, 11pt, Initial Letter of the first word only shall be capitalized.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><u>Text Format <\/u><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">? Body text of the paper should be formatted as: Justified, Times New Roman, 11pt.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">? Spacing shall be: Before \u2013 0pt; After \u2013 0pt; Line Spacing \u2013 Single Lines.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><u>Figures, Photos, Tables, and Equations<\/u><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A table, figure, equation, and the corresponding text which is describing it should be placed on the same page. Otherwise, it may be placed on the page immediately following it. One page may contain images no more than 2\/3 of its entire content.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Do not add multiple or irrelevant photos in your article. Photos must be crystal clear with high resolution to allow visibility of fine details. If necessary, put two figures on horizontal arrangement. The elements from any photo must be explained using numbers, letters, etc. The text within a figure or photo must have the same style, shape and height as the caption. Any table, figure or picture must have a caption (Fig.1, Table 1, etc.) followed by a proper description. (Example: Fig.2. The experimental setup: Description)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Importing images from other articles or books is forbidden unless they are cited.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Labels of Figures and Tables<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>\u00a0A figure or photo should be labeled with &#8220;Fig.\u201d and a table with \u201cTable.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>It must be assigned with Arabic numerals as a figure or a table number; the figure number and caption should be placed below the figure or photo.<\/li>\n<li>The first letter of the caption should be in capital letters. (Example: Fig.1)<\/li>\n<li>The first letter of the description following it should be in capital letters. (Example:Fig.1 The experimental setup.)<\/li>\n<li>The table number and caption should be placed at the top of the table. ? Figures and tables should be placed in the middle of the page between the left and right margins.<\/li>\n<li>More than one figure or one table is accepted on horizontal arrangement for efficient use of space. Reference to the figure in the text should read &#8220;Fig.\u201d instead of \u201cFigure.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Figures and tables should be sized as they are to appear in print.<\/li>\n<li>Check the visibility of your figures, tables or pictures by creating a press resolution PDF with at least 3600dpi.<\/li>\n<li>Articles with figures or tables incorrectly sized will be returned to the author for reformatting or rejected.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><u>Conclusion<\/u><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In this section, you should present the conclusion of the paper. Conclusions must focus on the novelty and exceptional results you acquired. Allow sufficient space in the article for conclusions. Do not repeat the contents of Introduction or the Abstract. Focus on the essential ideas of your article.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><u>SUBMISSION PROCEDURE<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Submissions of
