The School of Law is an innovative educational community with a belief of preparing students for future leadership in judiciary, litigation, academia, business and government.<\/p>\n<p><b>About the Event:<\/b>\u00a0Conflicts and disputes have been a part and parcel of human life since time immemorial. We cannot avoid conflicts but what is more important is how we manage or handle such conflicts. War\/Legal battle is one of the methods of resolution, but we have learnt with our past experiences that it is a costly affair and often unsatisfactory.<\/p>\n<p>Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) is an alternative to the formal legal system. It is an alternative to litigation. At present, the judiciary is clogged with over 3 crore cases pending in various courts all over the country. Online Dispute Resolution.<br \/>\nThe above themes are indicative and the author can send the article on any topic related<br \/>\nto the broad theme of the conference.<\/p>\n<p><b>Submission Guidelines<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Abstract: An abstract of about 300 words outlining the central theme (s) of the paper.<br \/>\nCover page: In order to facilitate anonymity, authors must mention their names, contact details and affiliations only on the cover page of the manuscript.<br \/>\nEnglish: Follow British spelling and punctuation conventions.<br \/>\nFont Size and Style: Kindly use Times New Roman 12 point for the main text and 10 point for footnotes.<br \/>\nHeadings: The heading should be used as per the following style: \u2022 First heading: 14 pt, Bold Center \u2022 Second heading: 12 pt, Bold Left aligned \u2022 Third heading 12 pt, Italics center Length: Papers should generally be between 2500 and 3000 words (including footnotes).<br \/>\nLine Spacing: The line spacing of main text of paper should be 1.5. The line spacing between footnotes should be 1.0.<br \/>\nIndent: Left and Right indent should be 0.5 on both sides<br \/>\nReferences: Footnotes should be used and not end-notes. Follow a uniform foot note style i.e. ILI footnote style.<br \/>\nCopyright: Author shall warrant that the papers submitted for publication do not infringe the copyright of any other person, except agreed otherwise. The copyright of the articles published shall vest with the publisher. The publisher, however, shall not be liable for any copyright infringement.<br \/>\nCo-Author: Maximum 2<\/p>\n<p><b>Review Process for Publication<\/b><br \/>\nFirst the submitted paper shall be tested through plagiarism software, and then the papers coming within permissible limit of similarity index will undergo a blind peer review process. Finally, the Editorial Board will give approval for publication. The decision of Editorial Board shall be final.<br \/>\nContent: Paper should contain an original contribution on part of author by making a cohesive argument supported with appropriate authorities.<br \/>\nQuotations\/ Quotation Mark: Quotations over 50 words should be indented. Double quotation marks should be used; single quotation marks should be used only for quotes within a quotation.<br \/>\nPlagiarism: The paper would be published only after standard plagiarism test.
