(1) These rules may be called the <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Offshore Areas Mineral Concession (Amendment) Rules, 2019<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0 \u00a0(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">2. In the Offshore Areas Mineral Concession Rules, 2006, after Rule 3, the following rule shall be inserted, namely:\u2014<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201c<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">3A. Prohibition on grant of permit, licence or lease in respect of atomic minerals \u2014<\/span> No reconnaissance permit, exploration licence or production lease of atomic minerals shall be granted to any person, except the Government or a Government Company or a Corporation owned or controlled by the Government\u201d.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>[Notification dt.
