In cases where \u201clynching\u201d leads to \u201cgrievous hurt\u201d, the convict may be punished with imprisonment \u2013 which may extend up to ten years and a fine which may extend up to Rs 3 lakh.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">No officer below the rank of Insp[ector General will investigate the cases of mob lynching.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The victims will be compensated as per the Rajasthan Victim Compensation Scheme and the fine claimed would be paid to the victim or their legal heir.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">[Source: ANI]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As reported by ANI, Rajasthan tabled the &#8220;Rajasthan Protection from Lynching Bill, 2019&#8221; in the State Assembly.
