{"id":215578,"date":"2019-06-11T18:30:23","date_gmt":"2019-06-11T13:00:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/blog\/?p=215578"},"modified":"2019-06-11T15:30:34","modified_gmt":"2019-06-11T10:00:34","slug":"notification-all-india-services-death-cum-retirement-benefits-amendment-rules-2019-notified","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/blog\/post\/2019\/06\/11\/notification-all-india-services-death-cum-retirement-benefits-amendment-rules-2019-notified\/","title":{"rendered":"[Notification] All India Services (Death-Cum-Retirement-Benefits) Amendment Rules, 2019 &#8212; Notified"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>G.S.R. 412(E)\u2014<\/strong>In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the All India Services Act, 1951 (61 of 1951), the Central Government, hereby makes the following rules further to amend the All India Services (Death-Cum Retirement-Benefits) Rules, 1958, namely:-<\/p>\n<p>1 (i) These Rules may be called the <strong>All India Services (Death-Cum-Retirement-Benefits) Amendment Rules, 2019<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>(ii) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the official Gazette.<\/p>\n<p>2. In the All India Services (Death-Cum-Retirement-Benefits) Rules, 1958 in Rule 16, after the first proviso under sub-rule 1A, the following proviso shall be inserted, namely:-<\/p>\n<p>\u201cProvided also that notwithstanding anything contained in sub-rule (1A), the Central Government may, if it considers necessary in public interest to do so, give an extension in service for a further period, not exceeding three months, beyond the period of four years to the Cabinet Secretary .\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Please refer the link for detailed notification:<\/strong>
