Arora chair in Criminal Law on Reforming Prosecution for Victim Justice, in Association with Indian Society of Victimology. The conference is scheduled on June 21<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0to June 22<sup>nd<\/sup>\u00a0and it will be conducted in National Law University Delhi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Following are the Sub-themes of the Conference:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Victimological critique of prosecution<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prosecution services and protection of vulnerable groups (children, elderly, disabled, women, etc.)<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prosecution and victims\u2019 rights<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Victim friendly prosecution<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Secondary victimisation and victim blaming in prosecution<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Strengthening prosecution for victim justice &#8211; structural and functional reforms<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prosecution and victims of abuse of power<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Judicial activism and victims\u2019 justice<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Consideration in withdrawal of prosecution<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">The Conference is also open to paper presentations. Teachers, Researcher, Activists, and Lawyers etc. are invited to participate in the conference. Up to 50 presenters may present their papers during the conference. Those of who are interested may send an abstract of 200-300 words by May 25<sup>th<\/sup>2019 in the email ID provided in the procure. Selection of abstracts would be informed within a week of selection being made.
