The 4th SLCU National Trial Advocacy & Judgement Writing Competition 2019 was conducted by the Advanced Criminal Law Studies Committee of School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) from 31 January 2019 \u2013 1 February 2019.<\/p>\n

The event was conducted over a period of three days having preliminary rounds, quarter-final round, semi-final round and the final round. The competition witnessed 20 law colleges across the nation take part in it. The problem for this year\u2019s competition was based on the Karnataka Police Act and the Indian Penal Code, 1860. The problem was drafted in a manner which tested the abilities of the teams with respect to law and procedure.<\/p>\n

Inauguration:
\nThe inauguration of the 4th SLCU National Trial Advocacy & Judgement Writing Competition was conducted on 31 January 2019 was graced by Mr Brijesh Singh, Advocate, High Court of Karnataka.<\/p>\n
